
OHIO — A driver was taken into custody early Monday morning after crashing a car into a home in West Price Hill, according to police.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on West 8th Street near Sunset Avenue. Police said a car went off the road and struck the front of a house. A tow truck removed the vehicle around 4:30 a.m.
Several people were inside the home at the time, but no injuries were reported. The collision caused damage to the porch and a front window, and crews placed wooden supports to stabilize the structure.
The homeowner told authorities this is not the first time a vehicle has hit the property.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence. The driver’s name has not been released. Investigators noted that no skid marks were found at the scene.
