
KENTUCKY — A man was arrested early Saturday morning following a drug investigation and search at a home in western Kentucky, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said 51-year-old Tony D. Evans was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at a residence on Jeff Davis Road around 4:30 a.m. on October 18. When detectives entered the home, they reportedly saw Evans smoking methamphetamine.
During the search, officers found approximately 3.6 ounces of crystal meth, Hydrocodone, electronic scales, plastic baggies used for packaging drugs, $6,817 in cash, five handguns, three long guns, ammunition, and other related items. One of the handguns had been reported stolen in McCracken County, authorities said.
Evans was first taken to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and later transported to an out-of-county detention center.
He faces multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.
