OHIO — Three people were hospitalized following a series of assaults and stabbings in Harrison Township early Sunday morning, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to reports of an assault around 2:30 a.m. in the 5000 block of Northcutt Place. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been physically assaulted by another woman known to her, officials said.
While medics were treating the woman, deputies learned that two people had been stabbed nearby at the corner of Northcutt Place and Palisades Drive. Authorities located the initial assault suspect, who had a cut on her arm, and a man suffering from a large laceration on his arm.
All three individuals — the two women and the man — were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect responsible for the stabbings left the scene and has not yet been identified. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit are continuing to investigate.
