
OHIO — One person was killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in west Columbus, according to city public safety officials.
Emergency crews responded to the scene around 3:45 a.m. near the interchange of I-70 and I-670 after receiving reports of a vehicle that had struck a wall.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene at approximately 3:50 a.m. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
As of Sunday morning, traffic from I-70 eastbound was being diverted to Interstate 270 while authorities worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the crash.
