
PENNSYLVANIA — A section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike was closed Friday morning following a crash with entrapment in Lancaster County, according to emergency dispatchers.
The crash occurred near North Sixth Street in Denver, shutting down all eastbound lanes as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Dispatchers said five people were injured, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known. It was initially reported that some individuals were trapped in their vehicles, but all have since been safely removed.
Authorities have not released details about what caused the crash. Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes while crews work to clear the roadway.
