OHIO — A 37-year-old man was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Warren County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened in the southbound lanes just north of the Ohio 63 exit in Monroe shortly after 12:30 a.m.
The driver, identified as David Hicks of Moraine, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation found that Hicks was driving a 2015 Jeep Rubicon when the vehicle went off the right side of the highway and overturned, troopers said.
Hicks was the only person in the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
