$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Republic man is celebrating an early holiday windfall after winning $500,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s new $10 Holiday Cash Vault scratch-off ticket.

The winner, identified only as Donald, purchased the lucky ticket at Bellevue Food Center, located at 200 Castalia Street in Bellevue. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings, Donald will take home $364,375.

Holiday Cash Vault offers five top prizes of $500,000, with four still remaining as of October 16, 2025.
