OHIO — Cincinnati Police District Three is seeking 35-year-old Jermell Hughes in connection with a felonious assault that occurred on October 8, 2025.
Hughes is accused of firing two gunshots at a victim during an altercation in an attempt to cause serious physical harm.
Hughes is described as a Black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 155 pounds.
Authorities say he has a criminal history that includes theft and obstructing official business. He was last known to live on Burnet Avenue in the Mt. Auburn neighborhood.
In addition to the felonious assault charge, Hughes is wanted for misdemeanor criminal damaging. Police urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Cincinnati Police or Crime Stoppers. Citizens are advised not to approach Hughes due to the potential danger posed by his alleged actions.
