MICHIGAN — An 82-year-old man died Wednesday night after being struck by an Amtrak train in Lincoln Township, authorities say.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the St. Joseph Avenue and CSX railroad crossing. Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
Officials say the incident remains under active investigation.
