TENNESSEE — Two people are killed and a third is wounded following a shooting Wednesday night in Baxter, authorities say.
Deputies responded around 7:30 p.m. to Vickers Ridge Road in the Austin Bottom area of DeKalb County.
Upon arrival, they found a man and a woman shot to death. A third male victim was flown to a hospital, but his condition has not been released.
The identities of the deceased will not be released until family members are notified. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
