
OHIO — No one hit the $600 million Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday’s drawing, but thousands of Ohio players still took home prizes.
The winning numbers from the October 14 drawing were 12, 22, 49, 57 and 58, with the Mega Ball 19.
According to the Ohio Lottery, one ticket in the state won $20,000, another won $2,500, and two players each won $2,000. Other prizes included nine $1,000 winners, four $800 winners, and ten $600 winners.
Smaller prizes ranged from $400 to $10, with thousands of tickets earning payouts across the state.
The Mega Millions jackpot now rises to an estimated $625 million for the next drawing on Friday, October 17.
Lottery officials noted that in the updated version of Mega Millions, the odds of winning the jackpot have improved slightly—from 1 in 302,575,350 to 1 in 290,472,336.
