
NORTH CAROLINA — Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured late Monday night in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 11:40 p.m. at the corner of New Bern Avenue and North Raleigh Boulevard.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after the initial 911 call, hospital staff notified police that a second victim from the same incident had arrived with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police have not released details about the connection between the two victims.
