
OHIO — Three people were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 71 in north Columbus.
According to Columbus police, the crash involved two vehicles and a semi-truck near the East 5th Avenue exit around 7:45 a.m.
Two of the victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition, while one person was listed in serious condition.
Details about what caused the crash have not yet been released.
The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that the southbound lanes of I-71 were closed for nearly two hours between the East 5th Avenue exit and Interstate 670 as crews responded and cleared the scene.
