
PENNSYLVANIA — Police are searching for a vehicle connected to a shooting that left one person dead Sunday afternoon in White Oak, Allegheny County.
According to the Elizabeth Township Police Department, a “Be On The Lookout” alert has been issued for a dark gray or black Chevrolet Silverado with Pennsylvania license plate HNL-9509. The truck has tinted windows, rain guards, and beige running boards.
Officials said the vehicle was believed to be occupied by three to four men wearing face coverings. Authorities warned the individuals may be armed with “long guns” and should be considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting occurred around 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Jacks Run Road and Lincoln Way, near a Wendy’s restaurant. A man was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Allegheny County police are leading the investigation. It remains unclear what led to the shooting or if anyone else was injured.
