WISCONSIN — One person was killed in a crash on the Beltline early Sunday morning, authorities said.
The Madison Police Department responded to the intersection of Mineral Point Road and South Gammon Road just after 4:30 a.m., where an occupant had been ejected from a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash led to a full closure of the Beltline, which reopened to traffic shortly before 7:30 a.m.
Police have not released the identity of the victim, and the investigation is ongoing.
