PENNSYLVANIA — Allegheny County Police have arrested a man after a woman was found fatally stabbed inside a senior living facility in North Braddock on Saturday morning.
Eastern Mon Valley Regional Police responded to Shady Park Place on Lobinger Avenue around 10 a.m. and discovered the victim, 66-year-old Faith Henley, suffering from multiple stab wounds inside her residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators arrested 28-year-old Victor Cordero in connection with the killing. According to court documents, Cordero told police he previously dated Henley’s daughter and claimed he was owed money.
Surveillance footage from the apartment complex showed Cordero, who did not live there, arriving at the building Friday night and entering Henley’s apartment shortly after 8 p.m. He was not seen leaving but was still there when police arrived after he called 911 to report what he described as a medical emergency.
Cordero is being held at the Allegheny County Jail on a charge of criminal homicide.
