
VIRGINIA — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on West Main Street in Richmond early Saturday morning, according to police.
Officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 600 block of West Main Street just before 6 a.m. for a report of a crash. When they arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway, unresponsive.
He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators from the Richmond Police Department Crash Team.
