
INDIANA — A Summitville man has been arrested following a drug investigation that led to the discovery of several ounces of suspected methamphetamine.
Authorities said 63-year-old Dennis Keefer was taken into custody on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, after members of the J.E.A.N. Team Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a Summitville residence.
During the search, officers reportedly found about 4 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, along with packaging materials, suspected drug paraphernalia, and marijuana.
Keefer was booked into the Grant County Jail and faces two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both classified as level 2 felonies.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Fairmount Police Department, Marion Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, and Grant County Prosecutor’s Office assisted with the operation. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
