PENNSYLVANIA — A Centre County motorcyclist died Friday morning after rear-ending another vehicle, authorities say.
According to a crash report, 21-year-old Aiden Andrews of Snow Shoe was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed around 7:15 a.m. when he collided with the back of an SUV on Route 144. Both vehicles were traveling southbound at the time of the crash.
Andrews was flown from the scene to UPMC Williamsport, where he was pronounced dead from serious injuries to his torso.
The driver of the SUV was not injured, though police reported significant damage to the vehicle’s right-rear passenger side.
