NORTH CAROLINA — One person died Monday morning in a crash on eastbound North Carolina Highway 27 in Gaston County, the North Carolina Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. near Meadow Lane in Mount Holly.
One of the two eastbound lanes was closed, causing traffic delays until around 9 a.m., when the lane was reopened.
No additional details about the crash have been released.
