VIRGINIA — Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Friday night in Pittsylvania County.
Authorities said the crash happened around 11 p.m. on Oct. 3 on Route 29, just north of Route 1032.
Bryson Everett Miller, 42, of Java, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet northbound when he crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes.
Miller was transported to the Blairs Fire and Rescue Helipad but was pronounced dead before the helicopter could arrive. The crash remains under investigation.
