
INDIANA — A 4-year-old girl was injured in an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in South Bend.
Police said the incident occurred just before 1:30 a.m. at the Miami Hills Apartments. The girl was inside an apartment when gunfire from outside struck her. She was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Several other apartments were also damaged by gunfire, though no other injuries were reported.
