
OHIO — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in northwest Columbus Saturday night, according to police.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police responded to the intersection of Sawmill and Hard roads shortly after 9:30 p.m. on a report of a collision.
Investigators said 38-year-old Justin Hawkins was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Sawmill Road when a southbound Nissan Altima turned left into a private driveway. The vehicles collided, ejecting Hawkins from his motorcycle.
Hawkins was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
