INDIANA — Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets after a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in Decatur has gone unclaimed for nearly six months.
The ticket, purchased at Casey’s #3678 on 1321 W. Adams St., matched four of the five numbers plus the Powerball in the April 26, 2025 drawing.
The winning numbers were 12-20-26-38-40, with the Powerball of 5.
The winner has until 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 to claim the prize at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis. By law, all Hoosier Lottery Draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
Officials recommend the ticketholder keep the ticket in a safe place, consider meeting with a financial advisor, and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for instructions on how to claim the prize. Tickets can also be checked using the Hoosier Lottery mobile app.
