$50,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — A lucky shopper at Ingles Markets has won $50,000 in the Powerball lottery, the South Carolina Lottery announced.

The winning ticket was sold at Ingles Markets Inc. #206, located at 1500 Greer Highway. The player added the Double Play option to their ticket in Wednesday night’s drawing, matching four of the first five numbers and the red Powerball. The winning numbers were 3, 29, 38, 56, 65 and Powerball 7.

The odds of winning this prize were 1 in 913,129. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize, officials said.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $195 million.
