TENNESSEE — A woman from the Brockdell community is facing jail time after deputies uncovered a drug operation at her home, which included children, authorities said.

The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Loretta Dockery’s residence and found evidence consistent with the sale and distribution of illegal substances.

Officers recovered approximately 75 grams each of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as oxycodone, hydrocodone, methadone, assorted drug paraphernalia, money, and a vehicle.

Dockery faces multiple charges, including maintaining a dwelling where drugs are used or sold, child neglect and endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, oxycodone, methadone, and hydrocodone for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Jimmy Morris said the arrest highlights the dangers drugs pose to families and children in the county:

“This is a clear example of the dangers illegal drugs bring into our communities—impacting not just individuals, but families and children. Our office will continue to send a strong message that drug activity has no place in Bledsoe County.”
