ALABAMA — A local man was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly robbing another man at a Winn-Dixie store, police said.
The Mobile Police Department reported that officers responded around 8:10 a.m. to the store at 5440 Highway 90 following a call about a robbery.
According to authorities, the victim told officers that a man he knew forcibly took his backpack and assaulted him during a struggle before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention.
LaBarron Young, 37, of Mobile, was arrested and charged with third-degree robbery.
