GEORGIA — A pedestrian was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 25, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers said the victim was struck while in the roadway just south of Quacco Road, outside of the crossing area. The driver of the vehicle left the scene after the collision.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
