VIRGINIA — A man was hospitalized and another man arrested after a stabbing early Sunday morning in Roanoke, according to the Roanoke Police Department.
Officers responded to a home in the 3400 block of Melrose Avenue NW around 1:59 a.m. and found a man suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police identified 35-year-old Olvin Pineda Munoz as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
Investigators said the victim and Munoz knew each other, and the stabbing followed an argument inside the home.
