KENTUCKY — One person is dead following a crash Sunday morning on Interstate 264 West, according to Louisville Metro Police.
John Bradley, a spokesperson for the department, said officers were called to I-264 West at Algonquin Parkway around 7:20 a.m. for a collision involving a van and a motorcycle. Police said the victim appears to be the motorcyclist, who died at the scene.
I-264 West is expected to remain closed for several hours while investigators process the scene. Traffic is being diverted onto Bells Lane.
The investigation is ongoing.
