GEORGIA — A person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Columbus on Saturday night, according to police.
The crash occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on Manchester Expressway near Hamilton Road. Officers responded to a call reporting a pedestrian had been hit. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not yet released the identity of the pedestrian, and no additional details about the circumstances of the crash have been shared.
The Columbus Police Motor Squad is leading the investigation.
