VIRGINIA — Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday, Sept. 25, shortly before 2 p.m. on Route 834.
Authorities said 72-year-old Kathy Jean Turman of Glade Hill was driving north in a 2006 Subaru Legacy when she ran off the left side of the roadway, causing her vehicle to overturn.
Turman was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
