SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at a gas station in Anderson County on Friday morning.
According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at the Marathon gas station on Highway 187. Investigators said a masked suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money before leaving the store.
Deputies said the suspect then got into a light-colored sedan and was last seen heading toward Highway 24.
The case remains under investigation.
