SOUTH CAROLINA — A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night in Spartanburg County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 9:48 p.m. on Hayne Street near Arcadia Station Road. The pedestrian was in the roadway when they were hit by a vehicle.
The victim died at the scene. Officials said the driver was not injured.
The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released as the investigation continues.
