
MISSISSIPPI — A 19-year-old man is facing charges after leading authorities on a high-speed chase Monday evening, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP).
Around 7:10 p.m. on September 22, a trooper attempted to stop a motorcycle traveling 98 mph without headlights on Highway 67.
Officials said the driver, identified as Collin Rayne Bozant, fled down Shriners Boulevard and continued onto several county roads before losing control and crashing on Old Highway 15.
Bozant was arrested and charged with felony fleeing and multiple other traffic offenses. MHP said he was not seriously injured in the crash.
