
KENTUCKY — Several people were injured Wednesday morning after an explosion at the Borden plant on West 80, according to emergency officials.
The blast happened shortly after 7 a.m. when a cleaning chemical barrel exploded, said the county’s emergency management director.
Four people were taken to the hospital with various injuries, including one person who suffered a broken leg.
Officials said the building did not sustain any structural damage. The incident remains under investigation.
