
OHIO — A 48-year-old woman died Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle at a busy intersection, according to Springfield police.
Officers and medics responded around 9:15 p.m. to the area of North Belmont and Columbus avenues on reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. When they arrived, they found the victim, identified as Cheryl Suttles, with serious injuries.
Suttles was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center, where she later died, city officials said.
