GEORGIA — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night at an apartment complex in Bryan County.
According to the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and Richmond Hill Police responded around 10 p.m. on Sept. 20 to reports of gunfire at the Ashton Apartments, located at 505 Harris Trail.
Officials confirmed that one person was killed and another was injured in the incident. The injured individual’s condition has not been released.
Richmond Hill Police will lead the investigation going forward.
