OHIO — One person was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in the city’s Fifth by Northwest neighborhood, according to public safety officials.
Dispatchers said first responders were called to the 700 block of West 5th Avenue around 1:15 a.m. for reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The individual was taken to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.
Authorities have not released details on a suspect or what may have led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
