
INDIANA — A person was killed early Saturday morning in a crash in downtown Indianapolis, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) reports show officers were first dispatched around 3 a.m. to a call labeled as a “traffic stop” near North East and East Ohio streets. The call was later updated to an “accident fatal” after one individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said at least two vehicles were involved in the crash. IMPD has not released details on the cause of the collision or whether anyone else was injured.
The investigation remains ongoing.
