OHIO — A 21-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Greenlee Road and Fenner Road, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene around 2:48 p.m. The preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota RAV4, traveling south on South Greenlee Road, stopped at the intersection before continuing south. The SUV then entered the path of an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Fenner Road.
The motorcyclist, identified as Garrett Boatright, 21, of Laura, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries, and no other injuries were reported.
Authorities said drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
