ALABAMA — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left two people injured Thursday afternoon on Brewton Avenue.
According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to the 2900 block of Brewton Avenue around 3:17 p.m. and found a man and woman, who are reportedly in a romantic relationship, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officials said the man was shot in the lower leg and the woman in the lower knee. Both were transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Investigators believe the shooting was carried out from a white pickup truck. The case remains under investigation.
