GEORGIA — Buc-ee’s is moving forward with plans to open its fourth Georgia location, with land now being cleared near Interstate 75 in Monroe County.
The 74,000-square-foot travel center is projected to create 200 full-time jobs and generate an estimated $30 million in sales tax revenue. The store is expected to open in March 2027.
Buc-ee’s currently operates three other Georgia locations in Fort Valley, Adairsville, and Brunswick.
The Texas-based company, founded in 1982, is known for its massive stores, plentiful gas pumps, and emphasis on cleanliness and customer service.
The Monroe County site will continue Buc-ee’s expansion into the Southeast, bringing its signature convenience experience to another busy travel corridor.
