VIRGINIA — A 71-year-old man died Tuesday evening after his vehicle overturned in a single-vehicle crash, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Riverside Drive. James Ratliff was driving a Chevy SUV on Route 460 when it left the roadway and overturned.
Ratliff was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities noted he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
