OHIO — A woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing mail from residents at an assisted living facility where she worked, according to police.
Kimyada Hollis is charged with theft of mail and misidentifying herself. Police said she was employed at Fairmont Senior Living of Westlake when the alleged thefts occurred.
Court records show Judge Joseph Burke bound her case over to a grand jury.
Officers were initially called to the facility for a disturbance involving Hollis, who was reportedly yelling and attempting to fight with co-workers. During the investigation, police said they discovered mail in her bag that belonged to three residents, described in reports as “elderly dementia patients.”
According to police, Hollis had only recently started working at the facility earlier this month.
