OHIO — A large party at a local business led to three arrests early Sunday after police discovered narcotics and firearms inside the establishment, according to the Columbus Police Department.
Officers said they conducted a business license check at Natural Nails and Gels Salon, located at 701 Brown Avenue, around 1:00 a.m. on September 14 after receiving reports of a large gathering at the salon and nearby intersection.
Police said the investigation led to the recovery of 1.5 pounds of marijuana, 100 Oxycodone pills, two firearms, and several pieces of drug-related paraphernalia.
The business owner, Eric Poe, along with Dante Jenkins and Steve Wilborn, were taken into custody.
Poe is charged with obstruction and operating a business without a license. Jenkins faces charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Oxycodone, possession of a handgun while committing certain offenses, and possession of drug-related materials.
Wilborn is charged with possession of Oxycodone, possession of drug-related items, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The investigation is ongoing, CPD said.
