OHIO — A 17-year-old boy died after being shot Sunday night in Dayton, police said.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Alvin Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to Dayton Police Lt. Eric Sheldon.
The Dayton Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
