
INDIANA — A drug investigation in Marion led to five arrests and the seizure of nearly five pounds of narcotics, authorities said.
On Friday, the Joint Effort Against Narcotics (JEAN) Team Drug Task Force, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the Marion Police Department Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Indiana State Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 1000 block of Geneva Avenue.
Officers seized 4.8 pounds of methamphetamine, 19.8 grams of marijuana, $2,700 in cash, and various drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were arrested and taken to the Grant County Jail:
- Cory Brown, 44 – two counts of Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 2 Felony)
- Sandy Brown, 55 – Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor)
- Neshawna Jefferson, 20 – Visiting a Common Nuisance (Class A Misdemeanor), Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor)
- Meghan Mohammed, 19 – Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor)
- Kai Clester, 26 – two counts of Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 2 Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor). Clester is also wanted in Wabash County on two counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine, 10 grams or more, with a $40,000 bond.
