OHIO — A 22-year-old man is dead following a shooting Tuesday night in Mt. Healthy.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched just after 8:40 p.m. to the intersection of Lakenoll Drive and Hamilton Avenue, near the exit from State Route 126/Ronald Reagan Highway.
Deputies found the victim, identified as Brandon Grimes, inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to UC Medical Center for emergency treatment but later died from his injuries.
Due to the severity of the case, Mt. Healthy officials requested assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section.
No suspect information has been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
