
NORTH CAROLINA — One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash around midnight Saturday, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said two people were transported to WakeMed in stable condition. The identity of the victim who died has not been released.
Authorities confirmed the crash was a head-on collision but have not said what led to the crash or whether any charges will be filed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
